On June 4th Jörg Hellmich informed about the NeXt group at the Schwelmer Symposium.
On April 18th a board meeting took place to discuss future activities and plan the next general assembly.
In April 2017 we founded the NeXt group with the goal to promote open hardware, software and standardized interfaces for the lift industry.
The first open hardware project was the Thor lift controller from SafeLine. They provided the schematics of their new controller as a reference design for next generation developments.
We have a new member! 'SCHAEFER GmbH', one of the leading fixture companies located in Sigmaringen/Germany, has joined NeXt group. :-)
For the NeXt group a successful year comes to an end, a good time for a brief review of the last few months.
On 15-16 May 2019 the LIFTEX 2019 will take place in London / UK. NeXt group will be there to inform about our open projects and to discuss your ideas of open interfaces + hardware and software.
On 27 September the NeXt group General Assembly took place in Dusseldorf / Germany. NeXt group members from five countries came together to discuss current projects, ideas for future projects and to plan marketing activities of the group.
The meeting was very productive. Many thanks to the participants who have come to Dusseldorf for this meeting and also to the members who have actively participated in the projects.
